Rotary Youth Exchange
Reno Sunrise is an active participant in
the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. Each year the Club sponsors a local
high school student's year long exchange in another country. And each year
the Club takes in a high school student from another country. Currently
Reno Sunrise is hosting Alexandra Merrick from Australia.
RYE students attend their
local high school and live with local families. By doing so they learn the
language and culture of their host country. And at the same time
they help to promote goodwill between two countries. The RYE program is
open to any high school student. To contact a Reno Sunrise
Rotarian about the RYE program, e-mail: info@renosunrise.org.
